Whyte›s National Rally Champion and is also a two time Africa Rally Champion for 2009 and 2010.

It is believed that Uganda is his luck ground having won here on his way to the championship. He comes from a rallying family as his father was a champion of Zimbabwe in the 1980s.

His navigator too, Phil Archenol has loads of experience having started out in 1987 with Whyte’s father and has 7 National championships, 2 African Championships and 2 East African Championships between them.
